So...my brother didn't know what a Swastika was

...and he owns American History X.

I'm surprised that he never learned what a Swastika was in history class, I mean...it's a major topic. But then, to rebut, he compared it to me not knowing what pussy felt like. Uhm..yeah, almost the same thing...

So, do you know what a Swastika is?

*fights temptations of jew/nazi jokes and a new poll named "So...LoKe doesn't know what pussy feels like.. do you?"*

😛

Your brother sounds like a winner.

I'm a virgin, so, of course I don't know what it feels like.

Government educated?

We had the same History teacher, and I had a huge project on World War 2.

The old adage "You can lead a horse to water..." comes to mind.

I knew what a swastika was halfway throuh Elementary school and I didn't need to learn it from a teacher. My Dad being a huge WWII buff was kind of cheating though.

Yes. Something that is Persian in origin, ironically found in early 1st century synagogues, and perverted by the nazis as a sign of racist hate...

Inverted by the Nazi's, and it was a buddhist symbol, yes?

EDIT: Make that Hinduism.

I used to know a guy who lived in Edmonton (I think). He said kids spraypainted swastikas all over the place.

He also pronounced it weird--swahs-TEE-kuh--with major emphasis on the TEE part

A little slice of heaven shoved between sheets of filo dough.

I knew the symbol a long time before I knew the word "swastika". swastika spirals clockwise, the buddhist symbol turns the other way
