so my Asus memo pad HD doesn't play google movies in hd

When buying or renting HD movies from Google it States that my device wont play in HD even tho it is. I'm looking for a 7 or 8 inch tablet that will play HD Google movies in HD. I don't want to root a nook or kindle and it has to have at least 16GB built in and an msd slot. Also under 300 if possible. What do ya'll recommend?

Doesn't have SD slot but you can get one with more memory

I think the Galaxy tabs are the only other ones with SD slot.

Deal is dead. its 279 on newegg but I just checked on my neweggbusiness account and its 249 new with free shipping. i'm gonna ask my boss if I can order this on the company account and write a check. Thanks for the heads up. looks like a decent tab.

It sounds like it plays HD videos just fine from Netflix,

and didn't bat an eye at playing back HD video or streaming movies over Netflix.
