60gb...hell that's nothing, all you'd have to do is copy my mp3 folder once and you'd max that drive. :)

Because when you copy files that are already there to the same network folder, windows has to take that file that is across the network, copy it into the system I/O (which is local) and then copy it back...

This thread reminds me of why I leave my computer not only password-protected but physically locked when I'm not on it. Sure, the lock can be broken, but at least I'd know exactly what happened.

If you can get onto his msconfig, registry, or the like, you can do all sorts of fun sh... stuff.

Ahahahaha, this is great. He's been deleting stuff all week. He's like "I don't get it, I keep deleting stuff and I have more space for a while then it disappears again." :laugh::evil:

tell him you'll help him and add an additional admin account.

then hack his version of XP pro to allow multiple simultaneous user logins and go to town:D

don't do anything. you might get in trouble.

even better, why not explain to him what he is doing wrong, and show him how to fix it.
