for about 5-10 minutes it was raining harder than I've seen in years....also thunder set off my car alarm....sounded like it was right on top of the house..... yikes

Yeah, I saw a couple flashes of lightning this morning but the thunder clap was long after and very muted.

Oh well, I have a fire in the fireplace and I'm sipping my coffee...it's all good.

Edit-I noticed after moving here from L.A. that whenever I said PV (Palos Verdes) everyone here thought I was talking about Pacific Beach (PB).
 
Its such a beautiful day now. Clear sunny sky, unlimited visibiity. Its just windy and really cold. But yet - a wonderful day. 🙂
