In the interest of reality, Iran state TV neither announced nor placed a bounty on Trump. An unidentified eulogist during the funeral procession for Soleimani called for it.

Trump might not be around for the Senate trial. 80 mil is a lotta bucks.

Iran state TV places $80 million bounty on ‘the head of President Trump’ after the killing of top general

Iran state television on Sunday announced an $80 million “reward” for the head of U.S. President Donald Trump.

According to the announcement, Iran is offering $1 for each of its 80 million citizens. The money would purportedly go to the persons who “who get close to the head of President Trump.” The reward was first reported by EN24.

“Iran has 80 million inhabitants,” the statement said. “Based on the Iranian population, we want to raise $80 million, which is a reward for those who get close to the head of President Trump.”

The announcer suggested that each citizen should give a dollar to the cause.

Over a million mourners were said to be on the streets over the weekend after Trump ordered the assassination of Qassem Soleimani, a top Iraqi general.

Even Iran knows Trump ain’t worth anywhere near a billion.

I'm thinking Trump, with that crippling inflated ego of his, must be really pissed and hysterically insulted that Iran thinks he's worth a measly 80 mil. Methinks even more so because he knows his personal net worth isn't even half that.

Everyone knows what a thin skinned impotent wretch Trump is. So easy to troll the guy, this is sure to get him going. He's so insecure, he'll likely even be scared over it, despite being the best protected person in the world.

Sheesh.

And what actually happened:

"A eulogist speaking during funeral events for assassinated Iranian general Qassem Soleimani has called for a multi-million dollar bounty on President Donald Trump as mourning continues for the slain Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander."

...

"There is no indication that the proposal was endorsed by the regime, though some initial media reports claimed that was the case. The Iranian government has promised revenge for Soleimani's killing, though no official has personally threatened the president."

This is just sad, Esp since you guys seem to approve of the hired assassination of the US President.
Odd, in this case you, seem, to have significant difficulty with reading comprehension. Would you quote the approvals?

Do you think he hasn't put himself out there for assassination already? Only option at this point is the solution that Ben Franklin offered: Impeachment and removal.

Not sure that would help at this point. Didn't Saddam Hussein go after daddy Bush after he left office?

A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth gets its pants on. Always. The server... they say Ukraine has it.

Repubs consider this tactic SOP of which they disingenuously win elections and pass legislation with. The party can't survive without it.

This.

edit: since the Secret Service responds to threats to the POTUS, I hope anyone who endorses this or makes even veiled threats gets thron into fed prison. I dont care how bad a POTUS is putting a bounty on him/her or endorsing it is just sick. Including those leveled against Obama

OK? What does civil war have to do with threats to POTUS?

Because when blood is called for, anything goes. Tit for Tat.

Stop and think where the United States is headed. These days, the ONLY action(s) of our government is as a contest of absolute power between the two parties. There is no other function. Think of our divide, where facts, science, and objective logical reasoning are in dispute. The only thing agreed upon is disagreement. Yet there remains the power struggle. Where does that end?

To de-escalate... Republicans could show a sign of good faith... and support impeachment for the crime of soliciting a foreign government to help in the 2020 election. To safeguard our democracy from foreign interference and internal corruption. No? Then there is little to talk about. Now we simply wait until this power struggle turns from cold to hot. Those Republicans vow to turn it hot. Just like those who would threaten the President.

America is boiling over, it has everything to do with it.
