So much for giving up pop!

Well, I decided to give up pop last night, I single handedly drank a 12 pack of Dew last weekend, well I went through the whole day, the vending machine was calling my name the whole day, I settled on water and had some milk, and now it's 10:49 pm and I have a hella strong craving for that one can of Dew that is in my fridge. ARRGH FORGET IT, I CANT HANDLE IT.

IM GOING TO GET DEW RIGHT NOW

DEW DEW DEW

---- I know how my dad feels when he tries to quit smoking 2 times a year for the past 20 years and can't!

you're like a friend i know... she has at least 3 diet cokes every day... you wouldn't believe the number of bathroom calls she goes on...

I'm still holding out, but that Dew is singing to me from the fridge.

For me, it's either real pop like Mountain Dew or Coke, or its no pop at all. That diet crap, ONE crap, all that is horrible tasting, and that aspartime sweetner crap gives me headaches, so i haven't had a diet pop in years.

And the worst part is, I look at fruit juices like Apple Juice, orange-pineapple, cranberry, THEY ALL HAVE A TON OF CARBS IN THEN TOO! ARGHH is there any beverage that tastes GOOD and isn't loaded with carbs?

How about Crystal Light?

I've been trying to get in shape for flag football, and one of the big changes I made was to give up regular soda. Now I drink mostly water and sometimes diet soda, instead of the 3-4 cans a day I used to during the summer, when I did the Officemax deal. At 170 calories a can for Mountain Dew, that's at least 500 calories a day that I don't have to use up anymore. Anyway, if you're really going to give it up, hang in there for a tough few days, and it'll get much easier as time goes by.
