Actually the News people don't usually give the race of the people involved In a black on white crime but will on a white on black crime. I saw a study on it somewhere.

As long as racism is alive and well in America, news broadcasts will always point out the fact that color played a part in crime. In order to reduce racism, the individual 's color needs to be removed. Instead of saying a black man robbed a bank, the news needs to report a man robbed the bank. That type of reporting would be fine if everyone wanted to be considered equals, but there are still a lot of people (non blacks) who like to point out the fact that the person who robbed the bank was in fact black. Ultimately meaning that blacks are still not to be considered equals because of the crap that they still insist on pulling. If all crime seeking persons would simply stop commiting crime, then maybe everyone could be treated as equals like the rest of the law abiding individuals in this country.
Of course I'm also probably living in la la land!

True, but note that in some cases the racism is on the part of the attackers, not the newspeople or victims.

Blacks are just as capable of commiting hate crimes and being racist as whites and asians.

Oh absolutely! I agree. My point is the fact that whenever a black (or any minority for that fact) commits a crime against a white, we are more likely to stand up and shout, "See, blacks are not fit to be considered equals because of the vast quantity of crimes they commit against people and their (the criminals) inherent disregard for human life (other than their own of course). If a white commits a crime against a black, the entire black community jumps up and shouts, "racism!"
