sorry for the cheesy title. K I am sick and tired of my TNT2, my grandparents gave me $50 on New Years eve, and I can probably make another $25 selling my TNT2. I can't choose between which video card I should get, what do you guy's think.

-Geforce 2 GTS---$57
-Radeon LE----$59
-Radeon VE 7000 32MB DDR----$45
-Radeon VE 7000 64MB SDR----$47

or what else?

Thank you for your comments, I appretiate every single word you guys post.

Happy holidays!!!

the best card in terms of preformance that you can get is the Radeon 32mb DDR, not the LE. you can get that from newegg.com for $59. If you want to spend a little more, then you can get a GeForce2 PRO for a little over $100, and that is a darn nice card, but if you want to remain below the $60 range, go for the Radeon. I loved my radeon LE so much, but I just upgraded to the 8500 so I no longer have that card.... sniff..... :)

I am not a die-hard ATi fan, so you don't have to take my reccomendations with that big a grain of salt, but I think the best you can get for the price is the 32mb DDR radeon thats my $.02

Of your choices, the GF2 GTS is the best performer. The Radeon LE and VE are basically crippled Radeons with terrible performance, which is further compounded by sub-par driver support. Given that most games today do not have hardware T & L support, and that most future games will suck on your system (I would assume that you're seriously processor limited), a Kyro II based card would also be a fine option. Kyro IIs are usually accredited with having the best quality graphics (though not the best performance by far). AnandTech has an article about the Kyro II, and it's filled with real world benchmarks comparing it to the various flavors of the GeForce II and first-generation Radeon (and even includes the Voodoo 5 in the benchmarks).

But what card is the most compatible for games.

I have a Diamond Viper II 32 mb S3 chip and I find that there are a lot of games that will not run using this card. i.e. Novalogic Commanche 4

Cheers

Tough choice.

What brand is the GTS?
The 2D quality of the GTS's differs greatly between the various brands, with the good ones being Elsa, Visiontek(VT makes cards for Elsa), and Gainward, and LeadTek supposedly makes good cards as well.
If it's either of these brands, I'd take the GTS.

The GTS is the VooDoo 2 of it's time, every game producer will make sure their games work with it, it had solid drivers, as well as solid performance, hence, a solid choice.

The brand of the GTS is 3D Power which makes the famous Geforce 3 Morpheus cards. I couldn't find a pic or any reviews online for the GTS though. Their site doesn't work eigther.
