There's a joke about how when someone says we should standardize something, what ends up happening is they just invent yet another standard.

We're doing that but with forums.

That's usually true but sometimes it works. Look at USB, it quite the wonder even if not perfect for everything. I used to prefer eSATA, for example. I'm sure some might've liked Firewire. The end result was a win though.

I don't go on Discord unless the forum is down, and I am only joined to two AT Discords (now three?). I really hope it doesn't come to that.

Many of us (myself included) don't care much for reddit. It is in no way close to replicating what we have here.
