Her camera was a Kodak DX3900 (3.2MP 2x zoom) and she was planning on buying a new one anyway, but then I go and fsck up the camera trying to fix it for her (the battery door wont close).
Well, leave it to a geek to spend 6 hours and manage to disassemble the entire fscking thing because I dropped a screw in that wouldn't come out.
Anyway, when I was putting everything back together, there was this little piece of metal with like 4 prongs on it (stupid POS.gif) that one of the prongs snapped off. I tried to solder it back on but I can't get the camera to display on the LCD properly anymore. (if you've seen this metal piece before tell me so I don't have to buy a new camera
)
Anyway, I figure I'll just be a nice guy and buy her a new WAY BETTER camera (I've wanted the A85 for a while).
Futureshop.ca has the A85 for $299. Bestbuy has it for $349... do you guys know where I can get one cheaper?
