I thought Kenny Chesney was the big country guy right now.
But then, I'm a Nashville guy, what would I know? 😛
Indeed, Kenny Chesney is a big country guy right now.
Toby is the big country guy among everyone that can't get past how patriotic he is.
Tim McGraw's "Live Like You Were Dyin'" is *very* popular right now - it's been #1 for a couple of weeks I believe. That said, it hasn't been released, and good luck on acquiring it.
Tracy Bird's "Keeper of the Stars" is a MUST PLAY at events such as weddings.
Reba McEntire's "Somebody" is very popular, but I wouldn't recommend playing it at a wedding.
Others that may be appropriate in some situations;
Clay Walker - Hypnotize the Moon
Joe Nichols - The Impossible
John Michael Montgomery - I love the way you love me
John Williams - Jurrasic Park Overture
Aaron Lines - You Can't Hide Beautiful
Brad Paisley - We Danced
Garth Brooks - If Tomorrow Never Comes
Garth Brooks - Unanswered Prayers
George Strait - The Best Day of My Life
John Michael Montgomery (I think) - Check Yes or No
John Michael Montgomery - Life's a Dance
Kenny Chesney - She's Got It All
Kenny Chesney - Young
Lonestar - I'm Already There
Martina McBride - Blessed
Michael W Smith - Friends
Reba McEntire - What do you say
Reba McEntire & Vince Gill - The Heart Won't Lie
Tim McGraw - Don't Take The Girl
Toby Keith - My List
Vince Gill - Feels Like Love
Oh, and if you're by chance DJ'ing while anyone is eating any beef, you must play Aaron Copland's Hoe-Down, from Rodeo. I can't remember which symphony recorded the copy I like; I believe it was the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Do NOT, under any circumstance, play:
Paul Brandt - My Heart has a history
Toby Keith - I Wanna Talk About Me
Trace Adkins - That Aint My Truck
Good Luck!
