So, I've been on a conference call since 10 AM.

It might be the lack of sleep and the fact that i'm not eaten much. I just have light headache and my stomach is a bit uneasy. This is supposed to build character, right?

The same type that sometimes takes 72 hours. Big customer, with big problems that need to be solved.

I thought the accepted procedure was that if the call was going to last more than 4 hours, you got everyone around a real fvcking table and gave them pizza/donuts throughout the day.

LOL that would be cool except for the call that we hape people form CA, MI, NJ, VA, TX and Canada on this call.

That would be a freaking big table.

When the customer calls our boss's boss's boss. That is when you get a call and the "hmm, so can you be on a plane tonight?"

I was on a 7 hour call with half of the IT world on tuesday (seriously, like 40 people were on this call; DB2 database admins, server admins, network peeps, Cisco, IBM, sprint networking (not sure WTF they were on the call for) and a bunch of other people whose jobs I didn't understand. Yesterady was much a much shorter 4 hours which basicly consisted of 60 seconds of me (the end user) going 'it's still fvcking broke you asses. You tried your ideas, and they all sucked. do what I say it will work' and 3 hours, 59 minutes of them debating it before doing it, which magicly fixed the problem.
