So I've been eating 1300 calories per day for 2 months and losing weight like crazy (also work out every morning)

WOW 1300 calories is LOW!!!!!!! Obviously you're losing weight like crazy now, but eventually you'll hit a plateau. hopefully you wont cut MORE calories. You should be losing like 1 - 2 lbs. a week i believe. We all have different body sizes, types, etc. but i still think 1300 is way too low.

first we have to assume he's correct about the 1300 calories he's having each day

the average man needs about 2000-3000 calories a day
an olympic biathalon needs something in the order of 5000 a day

for his height, 1300 is technically feasible, if he managed to get his 5 fruit/ vegetable, 2 calcium and some sort of carbs to burn the fat
its possible his metabolic rate is fairly slow, mine is usually, I can do 3 hours of physical labour and eat very little or swing the other way completely

if he doesn't have a eating disorder and his diet sounds like 1500 calories

ensure that your not significantly reducing your muscle mass and hit the gym, muscle mass is denser than fat but it burns more fat as well letting you eat more (or lost more weight)

For breakfast I normally eat some toast with a piece of fruit. My lunches are normally a deli sandwich with more fruit and at dinner I eat some rice / pasta with a small piece of lean meat.

I am 5'4'' and I would never go below 1800. How much do you weigh?

WTF are you doing? Your starving yourself, losing all that musle and water weight, while retaining all that fat..

My sister (5'3) consumes 2000 calories a day. Your starving yourself like crazy

Each pound of bodyfat is roughly 3,500 extra calories. Don't worry about it

maybe my estimate of 1300 calories a day was low but i do eat plenty of fruit and i am pretty sure i get enough vitamins a day.

whenever i feel hungry i'll have some celery sticks or an apple. according to most calorie calculators, i use around 1800 calories a day and if i eat 1300 calories a day, i am at a -500 which means i'll lose 1 lb a week

-500*7 seems to be what most exercise / diet plans claim is safe weight loss

Geez, I think I'm probably around 1500 calories a day as my regular eating. No diet really, I just.....guess I never ate that much. Two bowls of cereal is a full meal for me.


Edit, late March:
Geez, I guess I need to concentrate on eating more. I'm at about 1100 calories today. :Q I just forget to do it so easily.

Walking or running one mile burns off about 100 Calories

What kind of work out are you doing?

You have to account of water gain or loss when you track your weight.
