I test drove one today and talked to a trusted salesman (we've gone through this guy before and he hasn't screwed us yet). He let me know of all the options and didn't pressure me into anything. That thing handles like a dream and when you wanna go, it will go! A bit higher than I wanted to go with the price, but my bank is giving me an APR of 6%, as opposed to the dealers 8% and 1000 off. After doing the calculations, I save more with the 6% than with the 1k back...so probably in about a week or 2 I will be getting it. I'll post pictures when I get it. Midnight blue color is my color of choice for the paint, and the interior is grey leather with black/grey panels. Should look sweet.

im 19, and with my father as a cosigner i got a 4.8% APR...

Thats cause your father co-signed and probably has a higher credit rating than me. I have no co-signer and 701 credit score. Oh well...I'd rather not rely on anyone else, for me this is a proud moment.

thats good, i was really proud when i learned my credit score is 640 or so as a 19 year old.

my dads is up around 750 or so, i prolly could have gotten a better rate with my mom, but o well. it woulda been minimal.

Don't listen to the kiddies, bragging about the rate daddy qualified for is only one step away from bragging about what daddy drives.

You'll be driving a Charger, he drives a Malibu.

End of discussion.

So what, your father co-signed, meaning your credit is such sh!t they won't even loan you the money in the first place.

The charger is a nice car, hopefully it keeps up in the long term. Get ready to buy a few sets of tires, seeing as how you will be leaving them all over the pavement.

No, there's nothing wrong with a Malibu.

But if we're going to be waving e-penises you're going to look a little lacking compared to the guy with the Charger R/T.

It's not the size of the e-penis that counts, it's how you use it.

i'm not really sure what that means, but..........take that!

My bro rented one for our trip to Monterey Bay. Mucho power, and BIG. All you need is some chrome rims with spinners.:)

How about take the 8% and then refinance with your bank for a lower rate? Even with the fees and what not...wouldn't you save more that way?

Its actually what I am considering, but I don't know if they would catch on and I would have to pay the 1k back. If not, then that is what I am going to do. Tomorrow I am gonna go to the bank and ask, then maybe head to the dealer and see what I can work out.
