I think of edge as my internet crayon and I use it when I want to scribble on a website. Otherwise, I use IE or FF to do my browsing. The bookmarks in edge are not convenient to access.

It's a web browser, just like any other.
Not really.

Oh, yay. Garbage semantics that don't detract from the point being made.

If I open Edge, can I not browse the Internet? It's a web browser. Funny how what it does is what people call it.

From what I understand, "just like any other" is the opposite of "'unlike any other" and similar to saying "they're all the same", similar to the logic in this comment:

These browser fanboy arguments that pop up weekly are getting really old.

Oh, so you're just trolling. Cool.

Go start a fight with someone else.

That ended nothing. You posted two screenshots of web browsers. You requested a site and got the site in each.

The fact that the browser renders differently means nothing in the context of the statement you're trying so hard to debunk with semantics that you're pulling out of thin air.

You are technically right, FF != Chrome (insert your own pair of browsers). They simply aren't EXACTLY the same. But they are both standards-compliant web browsers, as is Edge. If the best you can do is attempt to dissect semantics to form a tangential and meaningless rebuttal, you never really had a point. Just being a pedant for no good reason.

Edge isn't compatible with OWA? lol

Nonsense. I am logged into my Outlook webmail in Edge as I type this. Just another MS hater spreading BS; get your information first hand, not here.

As for Edge itself, I like how quick it is, but until it supports extensions and add ons, I'll stick with FF, bloaty as it is.

I have both Edge and Chrome installed and I prefer Edge due it's quickness and simplicity. Especially after the last update, Edge is definitely faster at rendering web pages than Chrome, plus the scrolling is much smoother as well..

The only thing about Edge though, is that the integrated flash player is hit and miss. On certain websites like IGN, Gamespot etcetera, the flash player does not render the videos..

But on other websites that use flash, it works fine. o_O

I reported this to Microsoft, and I must say that they DO listen. I reported a bug a while back with a certain website, and they fixed it..
