So the question is, where is a good online source for buying bulk stocks?

zecco.com has free trades.

i've been with them for about a year and haven't had any problems

I was kidding. I don't trust Zecco or any super discount broker but I do have an account with Scottrade as well as TD and Rowe.

why wouldn't you trust zecco? just curious....

Are you kidding me?

Never trust anything free, especially not with taxes and money. I can't imagine their phone support to be any good either and I question their longevity in business. I bet their interface lags too, considering the possibility of a high number of day traders holding accounts there. Companies like this can easily go belly up. Not my idea of a good deal.

I've been with them about a year and have never had any problems with delays or problems with support.

The accounts are insured like any other brokerage

BUY! BUY! BUY!

Seriously. Buffet and all the other legendary investors are buying.

Even if it goes down a little more (b/c it's impossible to time the TRUE bottom), investing in solid, fundamentally sound companies..... in 10 years you'll be bragging how besides the real estate boom you made a killing in equities.

I would if I had more assets 🙁 So if buffet is buying right now, where is taking cash out of?

1 year? hmm..also what did you call them about and what was their response? You're also missing one very minuscule point - business continuity. How long have they been in business and will they continue to be in business? It still bothers me that such a critical service is free. Nothing is free.
