They'll have about 8 to 10 of those laptops, tops. I did a brief stint at Best Buy during my college years, which included working a black friday. Obviously, this being AT, I was in computer sales. They intentionally stock BF loss leaders at single digit levels so they simply can't lose money on many.
Bad as retail market is right now, they've probably dipped their stock even more. IF you get the "pleasure" of speaking with an "associate", you'll have all of 10 seconds before they steer you towards the regularly priced models.

I just drove up by BestBuy, and there were probably 100 people standing in line, and maybe 20 tents.
But I had "Head Like a Hole" playing, and I turned it up a bit because one guy asked me to (I stopped to talk to them). About 3/4 of the line started singing the chorus and some were dancing, haha. I'm going back up because the one guy invited me to his tent, so I'll get to be like....12th in line. 😀

As long as I bring the proper lube, I don't see why it would be a problem.
I don't have in-laws to deal with, but seriously, you dislike your family/SO that much that you have no qualms with just foregoing the holiday altogether? I think you're the anomaly. I may not get along with my family all the time, but I only get to really see them a few times a year so I'll take that over saving a couple bucks on something.
