Buy frozen chinese dumplings. Boil and then pan-fry them... they are cheap and AWESOME.

Common consensus is Stouffers, Marie Callendar, Healthy Choice, and Lean Cuisine? I will give those a try next time I am in the frozen food section

Thanks for helping a hungry college boy.:D:)

As far as frozen dinners go, I'd have to say Marie Callendar's (pot pies especially) and Boston Market are the ones I like best. California Pizza Kitchen frozen pizzas are a favorite with the girlfriend and I think they're pretty good too, although a bit pricey. We also get a lot of frozen vegetables - usually for stir-fry dishes, and frozen chicken breasts now and then if there's a really good price on them. Usually have a couple frozen packages of dumplings/pot stickers too, along with bbq pork buns (cha siu bau). :)

yea it's really hard to find good store-bought ones. i've tried pretty much all of the ones here, whether they be from supermarkets, or from restaurants, and i've only found 1 that is acceptable.

In 18 years of being chinese I have NEVER had acceptable frozen dumplings. Not from supermarkets, sams, or insitutional distribution. Period.

CostCo has some great stuff, about 10 different kinds of frozen chicken most of it is skinless, boneless and pre-seasoned.

Just thaw and cook.

Schwans products are great--most of them, BUT...did you know they make the following brands that you can get at your grocery store?
Tony's, Freschetta, Edwards, Pagoda, and Larry's potato side dishes

Other good stuff:
Tyson Chicken Bites--they're tiny chicken nuggets
Sea Pak popcorn shrimp
Super-Pretzel
Mini Corn Dogs
Ore-Ida anything
Klondike products...all of them
Budget Gourmet has some good "meals"
