So is it possible to see Fossett's crash site through Google or Live maps?

I'm sure you could see the site, whether it actually has updated pictures with the plane crash is probably doubtful. They don't tend to update the images of the boonies often, just cities.

i dont think he could have survived for that long. it would be good if they can find his bones or something because apparently that area is full of wild animals.

I'm pretty sure he'd have shown up somewhere by now if that were teh case. It certainly seems he survived the crash for some period of time, but didn't make it out of the area alive.

They did update the pictures in that area after the crash so people could look for it.

yeah i thought Amazon's Mechanical Turk ( i think...) had this as a project
 
Guestimating on googlemap based on the CNN drawing, looks like he came down around Iron Mountain.

Also CNN front page just updated that a small amount of human remains found at the crash site.
