i think its chicago who already cancelled thier game for tomorrow. anyways, its looking more and more like a strike is going to happen.



(btw-- just checked the ESPN website, the dealine is 3:20 tomorrow afternoon)

I would be willing to bet that a strike will not happen. The owners have gotten enough of what they wanted, and at the last minute when it's clear they won't get anything more, they'll make a deal. Why would they do it any sooner? May as well hold out to see if you can get more.

I was confussed too but I just read a CNNSI article

There was no set time for the start of a strike, which would be the sport's ninth work stoppage since 1972. The first game affected would be St. Louis at Chicago, which is scheduled to begin at 3:20 p.m. EDT. Fourteen games are scheduled at night, but the union told players not to report if an agreement isn't reached.

So I guess 3PM-ish... :confused:
