The main characters can also survive a helicopter crash and pull themselves away from it under their own power, they just don't build people like they do in the movies.

It doesn't have infinite battery life. The movie was only 2 hours long ;)

Yea I hear a lot of people argue about the battery life which is moronic because the movie was 2 hrs long so one can assume the camera was used for 2 hours. It the camera being turned off in intervals that's causing the time span in the movie to be longer than 2 hours.

/sigh

It is like people are trying to find something to bitch about this entertaining movie. My friend watched it in the theater than complained that it isnt realistic because people werent driving their cars out of the city. Like wtf? yeah yeah that is what killed the movies realistic tone. The lack of driving cars out of the city, not the 600 foot tall indestructible monster pwning the city and our military.

It's a fucking monster movie, what in jesus fucking lord makes you think they were going for believability? Do you find yourself scoffing Iron Man for the fact that a Gold-Titanium alloy is nowhere near a hard material like in the movie, or that holograms don't exist so all of his computer interfaces are BS? Sure it's true but christ just enjoy the movie without dissecting it.

People complain about A LOT of things in general. This is just one of the more moronic things to complain about.

For example, people complained that they didn't like the "realism" of the camera shake. Most people I knew that complained, KNEW it was going to be like that....sigh

That was the least unbelievable part. How about when they pulled that chick off the rebar that was jammed clean through her and then she ran off. That was where I wasn't able to suspend my belief any longer.

In the NC17 Director's Cut you find out they recharged the camera during a drunken orgy.
