I bought the denon package at biglots ~300, came with a denon reciever avr-588 and boston mcs 130's 5.1. The mcs130 go over 300 on ebay, the denon reciever barely touches 200 but its up there. I set everything up, and I dont know if i should be impressed or not? Don't really know what good sound sounds like, i haven't recieved the digital cables yet though... Do you guys think it was a good deal for 300? or should i turn around and sell it for 500...PROFIT!
 
looks like a pretty decent system for an awesome deal. if you need the money sell, but otherwise i would enjoy them.

If you don't care how it sounds just sell it and spend less cash on another system.
 
yeah they sound wonderful actually, but many for some reason didn't think this was an amazing deal. Maybe Ill just keept them till i get my digital cables. Do they make a difference? vs analog?
 
if you are looking at selling it and buying something else, dont. you will not find much for under 300 that is even worth carrying out to you car. you got a great deal, that reciver is pretty good, good speakers. keep it. enjoy it.
 
You probably want to check the model numbers VERY closely. I highly doubt that you can flip everything for that much profit. Especially now that its used.
 
Just ebay search MCS 130
those are just the speakers alone,
and the denon receiver is going for about 160
so yeah, definite profit : )
i just put another one up, and i have about 1 more to go up too
