Yeah I was reading that thinking, phew, does he have a good point ! I mean that linuxboy chap would probably start talking about happiness or love or all this twisted and lengthy philosophical mumbo jumbo saying something like this:
With God's grace here and in the hereafter joyously do we share in your day. I say we share in your joy because it is ours and because you have invited us. I say we come with God's grace because this is a blessed union, made to endure in good times and in bad. I can tell you many well-wishings, and of the state of my heart or of my mind basking in your warmth but you've heard them before and doubtless many others shall offer congratulations and gifts. You two are one, made by luck or fate or choice or Providence, it matters not as this feast is. What does matter is two-made-one is a sacred trust and a sacred promise often forgotten in a modern culture and if remembered, for show only. It cannot be broken, but requires work, the results of which are a mixture of milk and honey sweetly drunk at morning's dew. Grow young together. Grow so young and full of life and love and bliss that it disgusts people who look not with a smidgeon of jealousy. I daresay, something that lengthy and boring would require at the very minimum two, fifteen-minute intermissions.
