Why is it that the movie took almost an additional year to be released in the U.S. after premiering in France? Is it a box office thing? 😵

It was actually a full-length infomercial for the French to warn them against fuckin' with American tourists. It quelled random kidnapping so well that the producers decided to take it to the States to warn us of smelly Parisian immigrants.

It's been on DVD for quite some time in Europe. I have a copy. And yes, its quite legal.
