seinfeld was funny, sometimes it wasnt, but it had alot of good bits

friends however...doesnt. ive sat througha whole show with my wife calling one joke after the next; predictable and bland

But Seinfeld was always good (with the exception of the final episode). In fact, a rerun last night had one of the best comedy bits ever: The one where George, after pretending to be a marine biologist to impress a woman, retells his heroic deed in saving a whale which had Kramer's Titleist stuck in it's blowhole. It's still friggen hilarious even though I've seen it a dozen times.

Well, stamps or envelopes, it was completely out there and stupid. Guess I should expect that from a show that had zero character development for the most part and focused instead on the same stupid gags.

My wife watches Friends, and I watched it with her last night. Its still the exact same show it used to be, and its still not funny.

Ross: Huge dork, and flies off the handle.
Rachel: Insanely hot, and for some reason every time Ross insults her, she makes out with him.
Monica: Annoying
Phoebie: Ditzy, and maybe the funniest character of the cast
Joey: Always thinking about the 2 best things in life. Food & Women.
Chandler: Immature, and still telling the same stupid jokes.

A great soap opera masquerading as a great sitcom.

I found the BBC version of Coupling to be funny... but after watching an episode or two, the sex jokes got kinda boring.

it gets better. watch all thats out on dvd, its pretty funny actually much more laughs then i've gotten outa all the eps of friends combined. then again friends is err not exactly lol funny ever.
