a new nail will grow under it, when the new nail is about half way in, the old one will fall off. it takes months.....
 
farking retard tonight made a clearing attempt and slapped the puck... right into my right forearm and stung it through the elbow pad... missed the last of the 3rd period cause I couldn't even feel my arm. :|

yeah it was only numb for about an hour. The kid had the whole rink to go with it and he decides to hit me when I'm 10 feet out. Fvcknut. 😀
 
Play through the pain 😉

I feel for you....... when I play out I get hit where the skate & shin pad meet......... no protection at all 🙁

A lot of players like to wear the shin guard inside the tongue of the skate... I wear it outside over it... haven't had any problems with that. Last week I was hit by a pointshot (my own defenseman) on my hip... I wear a really thin girdle too so it was pretty much flush-on... I'm bruised all over.
