I use This Bad Boy He is a little expensive, but he gets the job done. The range supprised me, me and a buddy drove from Santa Rosa to Davis and he was able to hear it most of the way there. I was always behind him, he only lost signal when a few cars got inbetween us.

I even parked the car accross the street and was able to hear it everywhere in my house, although it was a bit quite.

I built a 1 watt FM transmitter and used to mess with people in the dorms the same way!

The docking station to the car will only support an ipod. BUT, you can hook it up to a computer. It has an audio cable and a USB cable that you use to interface it with the computer. I tried to hook it up once, but I was intoxicated and couldn't get it to work.

I suppose if you can figure out a way to power it and hook up your device to the USB then it might work.
