Yeah, um got the laptop with a extra battery for my 700m for $980, trying to get rid of the laptop for $920 shipped or an acceptable best offer..not bad i'm not here to rip people off.
 
that idiot should wait for another one of "those" sales as it happens quite frequently 😛 and save about $200. Dunno why he would pm you . what an idiot..
 
Well, I'm not the guy who PMed you but I understand his frustration.

It's pretty crappy practice to get a deal off the hot deals forums here, and then 2 weeks later try to unload the item in the FS/FT forum.

The deal deals are common enough, but I have seen plenty of other items that were more unique come up for sale... Usually with some bogus story which just reeked of either "I bought this with the sole intention of making money off it" or "I bought this and then a week later realized I had no need for it, so now I'll try to sell it for a profit."

Nothing WRONG with doing it but it is still a little shady. Especially if ATHD was your source.

Edit: PS, I actually sold a free-i-pod on here, but I had the decency to tell the guy where I got it from... although no, I did not price it at $0. 🙂

And if that story you posted was true then you would never have ignored it and not gotten upset enough to post it here. 🙂 I'm just trying to help out my fellow ATer, like flot said.
