So I'm remodeling my bathroom and I want a urinal - would that be wrong?

I want to install a low flow urinal - the few people I've told this to thinks I'm nuts. Why is that a bad idea - I mean - I really would enjoy it. It'd solve alot of 'lid' problems, etc.

No. Regardless of design, urinals have pee splash. Maybe it's because I have a particularly forceful stream. I wouldn't want to clean up pee droplets after every drainage.

I've seen and used urinals in private bathrooms. While not common, they are nice. Also, you won't get the woman yelling at you for leaving the seat up anymore.

If you're only doing it for the water savings, pray your wife doesn't do her homework.

There's full sized toilets now that allow you to select between a #1 flush (1.1 gallons) and a #2 flush (1.6 gallons). Since a urinal typically flushes with a gallon of water, you're not wasting much with a dual flush toilet.

Go ahead and do it. I'll bet you within the first year, you'll catch your wife using it!! 😉

hell no. ive already told my wife if we ever redo our bathroom i will be putting in a urinal. why is it private homes are the only place that dont have them?
