He has only been on Anandtech since 05 and has quite a few less heat ware evals than I have, yet he wants me to pay before he ships. (we are talking about a $300 sale)

Would YOU pay first?
Should I be worried?

Does he think I'm not to be trusted?! ;)

(He's NOT a hot babe, he's SAFE!) ;)

I just have a hard time understanding WHY he wouldn't ship first.
I AM after all pretty well known around these parts... ;)

He's not required to ship first, just stupid if he doesn't.

Not if it's a fake name, phone number, and a fake (P.O. Box posing as an address) address.

Rrright... I know this is an unpopular opinion, but if you want to buy something, you send payment first.

It's a lot easier to get money back than it is to get merchandise back.

Of course, you also never buy from an untrustworthy seller.

So we worked it out.I will pay half, he will ship and I will send the other half when it arrives.

He kinda met me halfway! :)

Depends on how much heat he has really, but hey, he should be able to trust in the rules and guidelines of Heat. That's what they're for!

But I think if he has 10 heat, you could bend. But all up to the people involved. I would be fine with shipping first if I were the other guy.

Glad you got a solution though.

considering that a few high heatware traders have screwed people over, who can blame the guy for not trusting you.
