You call Mexicans "presumptious, ... mean and sometimes stupid" and call these observations subtle? You really are rather judgmental.

You cannot possibly expect Mexicans to pick up on a Canadian vs American accent. Can you tell the difference between a German from Berlin and one from Munich? How about a Frenchman from Paris vs one from Marseilles? Accents are extraordinarily difficult to detect, even when you've been speaking the language for a year or two.
