So. I'm Curious. What Would You Do In Toronto In 2 Hours

The wife and I are flying back from a (hopefully) peaceful holiday to Northern England in July. We have a lengthy layover on the way back in Toronto. Roughly 5 hours.

Ideas?

I wouldn't risk it. There is a train service that takes you to downtown Toronto in half an hour and runs every 15 min, but you need to clear security again when you get back to Pearson. So how much time have you got left?

I don't think there is anything unique enough in Toronto to go through the hassle.

Watch a couple Star Trek episodes on your phone. I wouldn't get groceries with only 2 spare hours on the clock. Not enough time to do anything.

Technically you'll be in Toronto whilst in the airport, so I'd drink beer in Canada and wait it out.

like a tiny piece of the airport is in Toronto xd. It's really in Mississauga. Probably true for most airports.

If you were at the island airport you would have a better chance but I think I would just stay at Pearson as it's not that close to down town and will take a while to get there and back. Take that time to go find your next gate maybe get something to eat and just wait it out.

Besides security, you also need to clear US Immigration and Customs. I'd recommend just having a drink in the terminal.
