So I went to a chess tournament on saturday...

I came home with a second place medal, and a *sniff* cold 🙁. Sore throat, stuffy nose, blocked sinuses, achy, *AAAAchoo* tired, this sucks 🙁 *sniff*. Any ways to help me get over this faster?
 
Take purell with you next time. Those little kids who shake your hand after rubbing their noses also sometimes use their chess pieces in ways you don't want to know.

When I used to play chess, I noticed that my fingernails would get absurdly dirty after a tournament too. Equivalent to not washing my hands for several days in adult life.

I bet it would be a good psychological move too. Shake their hand and then immediately use the purrell.

I won the year before this, got 1st place, but some new russian kid (no racism intended) came in this year and wiped everyone out. I played him in game 4.
