how much? O and when you purchase one it goes in your police record that you own a rifle right?

$300 and no. it varies from state to state, but when you buy a firearm in the state of texas from an FFL dealer they run a background check through the atf that takes between 15 minutes to 72 hours to make sure you're not a felon or wanted for a felony. that's about all that happens.

in a private sale there's no legalities involved other than a sale slip being made.

no story really. buddy of mine is moving to commiefornia and wanted to liquidate.

Sad. 🙁

I was at a gun show recently where they sold "part kits" for full-auto AKs. The part kit included all parts necessary to assemble a full-auto AK-47. Thing is, not sure who would want a full-auto if they don't have a license for it, because if someone hears automatic gunfire they're probably going to call the cops.

parts kits are readily available because people assemble AKs from parts. buddy of mine does it. I think yuou need 5 US made parts to have a legal 922r compliant rifle. take my SAR-1 for example. it's a romanian parts kit assembled in the US with a US made trigger group, butt stock, gas plunger and pistol grip
the full auto stuff is worthless because the ATF would be crawling up your ass if you built one

Yeah, I realize why they sell part kits, that's why I made the comment about it being pointless to own a full-auto if you don't have a license for it. 😉
