This is the first star wars movie I have watched lol. Everyone is flabber gasted when I tell them I havent watched any. It never really appealed to me. It was like a 'hardcore' geek type movie image to me. But today friends forced me to come with them, I must say I didn't not enjoy the movie. I was quite pleased by it. I think they tried "too hard" on the graphics effects and made some parts look too "unreal".

So what do you say, should i watch the rest?

i liked the puppets better than the graphics, at some points. i guess you couldn't have the robot fighting scene with the puppets.

yes def watch 456 they will make 3 make more sense too, 1 and 2 aren't needed as much to make 3 make sense and ppl like them less so watch them last

If you haven't seen any of them, I'd suggest watching 12456 in that order, for the sake of the story being smooth. Starting at 3 sucks, so consider 1 and 2 prequels, or flashbacks. 4, 5, 6, and the Ewok Adventures are much better.

rent all the dvds. and the special features for the first 3(old ones) are good.

Jus t pretend 1 and 2 don't exist. They add just about squat to the overall plot to begin with.

OOh, just a question that part where Anakin becomes Darth Vader, why didnt they use a real custome instead of having darth vader fully CG

BullyCanadian, I'm just curious how old are you? Were you born before or after the first three movies, 4,5 and 6 were in theaters? i'm just curious how long you managed to avoid Star Wars.

Watch the original 3. Don't even bother with the new ones. Thats my advice, at least.
