And the "Professor" draws a triangle instead of a square at the end of an equation when he says "QED"

Really?

I just don't know if I can take the show seriously anymore.

You don't get alternate dimension physics?

True, and they never say their homeworld is ours.

That show was really good until the cast started leaving one by one. A little after the Kromaggs were introduced it started going downhill.

Yup. I went through the whole series on Netflix maybe a year ago. It was disappointing how bad it got, because the Kromaggs were actually a good (and perhaps long overdue) idea - that other people could dimension-jump & were using it for evil. But it was just never really that well-implemented.

One of the things I liked about the show was how it kind of had a Twilight Zone or Doctor Who feel to it, where every episode could be something entirely new. Like that little tidbit with the shock collars that electrocuted you every time you lied, and everyone was forced to wear one 😀

The first three seasons were on Fox, the final two on SighFy. That pretty much explains everything.

Haha yeah, unfortunately. I think they should have started out the Kromaggs with a little bit more mysticism like the aliens in The X-Files...always lurking the background, weird stuff happening, and then start filtering out into the episodes. But it was so in-your-face, I had a really hard time slogging through those final seasons. Especially when it boiled down to just Rembrandt, you know? I think they had a pretty good mix of characters initially, but it just started going downhill fast.

I still really like the show and watch an episode now & then. They should do a movie to provide some closure, although it'd be nice if they deleted the Kromaggs from the storyline for the movie 😀 It was heartbreaking when they made it back to their Earth but the fence didn't squeak, and then his family came out after they left and said we finally got around to oiling that thing, D'OH!

The concept of sliding between dimensions was a really good one for a television show. It was cost effective since most of the worlds would look almost or exactly like ours. And they were able to explore many different ideas under the guise of it being a different dimension.

It jumped the Shark when they did the Roger Daltrey episodes.

I made it through 2 and a half seasons on Netflix before losing interest. I liked it for a while, then it got lame.

Hah, I've been watching Highlander (Netflix = best way to kill time on the cardio machine in the morning!) and he's been in a lot of episodes recently. Good character, too

I only got half way thru the first season. Made me sick. Too stupid, too many missed opportunities. WAY too many TV stereotypes.

Would rather watch Star Trek over again, it has better alternate dimension episodes.
