FYI... I don't advocate drinking and driving , but in Missouri , the powers that be just got turned down by the voters for what I believe to be the fifth time on an open container law. It is not illegal to have open containers in a vehicle. I am pretty sure it is still not illegal in Texas either. I wouldn't want to find out down there though, they don't mess around. In either case , I don't believe you should be doing anything but driving if you are behind the wheel. It doesn't matter what you are drinking , or eating. It is a distraction , and all of the above, including using a cell phone, should be illegal and come with very stiff fines. Hands free cell phones still have to be dialed for the most part , so I have to include them in here too.Driving puts everyones life in proximity in the hands of the driver. Anything that distracts you puts others at risk, so no distractions from that task ought to be permitted.

You seem to have a wierd sense of seeking thrills/enjoying life that's very similar to mine. I would do what you did and my friends would simply call me stupid. Sometimes I just want to get on the subway and head up to the Bronx and look around for a minute and go back to Manhattan. I can't find a single friend who would go with me. I'll go alone - I don't care, but I'd like to have someone share in the concept.
So true. It's usually stupid vigilante fvcks like that who end up getting into an accident that kills people.

I like all the fvckin whinny atoters here who are saying "Oh, you are drinking a beer and driving, you lose, blah blah blah". Please people, stfu, I cant stand it when someone thinks you cant drive after 1 beer, thats why MADD is just a load of crap. Everyone likes to blame everything on alcohol in this case, if a person gets in a wreck with a bac of .01% they blame it on the beer instead of the fact that maybe the person was just being careless.

It looked somewhat interesting. I saw it on the "Today" page, and browsed through the first couple of pages until I realized how retarded it was. Your comment on the first page was probably one of the stupidest.
So it impares someone a very small amount... it still decreases reaction time, etc, even if it's only to a very small degree. Does the degree matter? You're still impared. The laws are in place for a reason, and they should be.
Drinking alcohol WHILE driving will get you arrested, no matter what your blood alcohol level is. So you're wrong, the law does not agree with you.
I'm 6' and 190 pounds; pretty dense with lots of muscle, and after even a single beer I can feel it, since I don't usually drink. I have a very low tolerance. By your logic it shouldn't matter if I drink a beer and drive, but you'd be dead wrong.
Not to beat the dead horse, but your argument is not based on fact. Your argument is that one beer can't impare anyone significantly enough to stop them from driving, but you're wrong. As I said in a previous response, it effects me, and I'm not a scrawny guy. So to sum it up, your argument is based on opinion, not fact.
