so i was camping last night...

Get to the usualy campsite around 7 (we stay at the same site every other week or so), start the fire, cook dinner, then drink about 3/4 a bottle of jim beam till around 3 am.

Go pass out in tent, wake up around 6am to take a piss and i notice some pain around my ass... i think.. "wtf.. am i getting a zit on my ass or something?" I'm pretty drunk at this point so i dont think anything of it...

Wake up next day, swim in lake for a while, go to shooting range, come home, shower...

I start to investigate the pain a little... then i notice.... its a tick


ON MY FSCKING TAINT.

OH MY GOD.

WTF.

A tick has been sucking my taint for damn near a fscking day. I start to panick.. "HOW THE HELL AM I GONNA GET IT OFF.. I CANT EVEN SEE IT."

Wtf am i supposed to do??? I cant call my roomate in and ask him to "help me out"!

So after some serious tweezer/mirror/bleeding, i manage to get it out.

Now im drinking heavily to try and forget about it before i go tobed.
 
make sure its all out with a mirror or something, cuz if its a dangerous tick, and the head of the tick is still on u, u could still be getting the...disease or w/e. probably woulda worked to hold a flame by ur balls, he woulda backed out and crawled away.

Yeah. I dont think I could drink enough to work up the courage to light a flame to my grundle.
 
..that sucker waited all week for ya to show up in his part of the woods. Makes ya wana go back soon doesn't it??

Umm I'll take a tick to the ass then burning my balls off anyday.
 
I remember when my cousin got bit from a tic and got limes disease. He had a ring around his whole body.

So If you see more than one ring in a few days I would worry.
 
If there is any of the tic left in it can get infected. The best way to get rid of a tick is to light a match blow it out then touch the tick with the hot match. It will climb right out.

I'm laughing, but I know it does suck...(literally)

Get a mirror...go in the shower and run hot water over it...it'll come off easier...make sure you get the head out too, then use alcohol to clean it with...

Sigh... Attempting to burn a tick out does not work. Imagine someone lights a fire on your ass, are you going to run towards the fire or away from it. Ticks have the same response.

Some people say you can suffocate a tick by putting petroleum jelly around the tick. I say just pull the danm thing out.

CAUTIONS:

Children should be taught to seek adult help for tick removal.
If you must remove the tick with your fingers, use a tissue or leaf to avoid contact with infected tick fluids.
Do not prick, crush or burn the tick as it may release infected fluids or tissue.
Do not try to smother the tick (e.g. petroleum jelly, nail polish) as the tick has enough oxygen to complete the feeding.

 
I agree with the last poster. Burning the tick is hard. I've never had one myself, but an animal of mine did.. I was told rubbing alcohol.. that didn't work.. I was told a bunch of other things that didn't work. we ended up just pulling it out.

But my girls dog just had one, and used the Vaseline trick, and I guess it worked really well... since they can't breath, they have to come out.
 
I had 6 ticks on me last time we went camping... I just pull them off. Of course, I just had them on my shoulders and around my ankles, never my ass.

Just have somebody pull it off for you... and make sure the head isn't still attatched to you.

camp rules; body check at night, body check in the morning, use a good bug repellent.
