So, I was about to go to sleep...

Before getting into bed I moved my blanket. What do I see scurry for cover elsewhere in the bed?

A large black spider and now I can't find it.

I fvcking hate spiders. I REALLY fvcking hate spiders in my bed.

<--sleeping on the couch tonight

Update: After regrouping online, I have emerged victorious in my epic struggle with the spider in my bed. My trusty four D-cell Maglite and I have finally vanquished my foe.

Oh well the sheets needed washing anyway...

statistics say that the average person eats 3 spiders in their lifetime during sleep!!

spiders are atrracted to warm places, so ur mouth is one!!

😀😀

hahaha yeah! that sux dude, its like fighting a wasp all night and then you lose it and are scared sh*tless as to where it is. In my old house in NM we lived in this pretty nice house but in my room there would always be a wasp that snuck in every couple of days and this one night I woke up to like 10 wasps on the ceiling and I was so damn scared. They must have been there for a while because the hole they got in from was a very small hole so they couldnt all just get in a once so Im sure they crawled on my face a couple of times. Good luck with the coutch man and dont let your blanket touch the floor. lol

It is a waterbed. You can't hurt plastic.

I know man, haha. Im guessing your big guns are a nade launcher with raid bomb shells. Just rip the sheets off and throw them in the washer. You would feel much better though if you found the spider because it might be snacking off of your dead skin and be there for a couple of days.

That's why my # 1 rule with ugly ass bugs is, kill immediately on site. A dead spider is better than a hidden spider. Spiders freak me out, which means they cannot live.

Keeeeeeeeell!

I realize it won't cause any damage to your bed, but raid where you sleep?

Nothing that can't be cleaned later.

I just really hate spiders. Bats, snakes, rats, rabid dogs, etc... are no problem.

LMAO sucks for you. Though I can't say I wouldn't do the same in the same situation. Not my idea of a good night's sleep when for all I know it could be running around under the sheets.

I clicked on the light for a quick getup one night only to notice that 2 feet above my resting head was a spider lowering itself from the ceiling. Though that was bad enough, I had to ponder all the other nights that I never turned on the light......(shiver).

A friend of mine had a similar encounter, except the spider dropped strait down onto his face.:Q

It just so happens they're not atrracted to cardbon dioxide, which you're mouth exhales. This is due to their natural predators of birds.
