Kick ass! It is nice to see someone base their opinion on OS X after actually using it.

I used to be the same way about Apple. I hated them for no reason. Finally, instead of being ignorant, I went out and bought a cheap, used G4. I found out how much I liked all of the included apps and the BSD base of the OS.

I now have a Dual G4 1.25Ghz with a 20" Cinema display and am buying a new 15" powerbook today!

Eh

I'll take 98SE, 2K, or XP over that anyday

You've tried OS X then? You must have really given it a good try if you prefer 98SE to it

I've tried it, not in depth but I didn't need to. I didn't see anything great about it. And this:

I would like to try OS X also, but I don't have the money or time to do that at the moment.

says you didn't try it yourself.

Nope I haven't, but then I didn't say I did either. Just came to the conclusion that OS X would be prefered to Win98 impo, basically for the fact that OS X has a stable unix backend with a slick feel to it, compared to Win98 with its frequent BSOD every so often and it being a 5 year old OS. Reading reviews and users comments let me know what it is roughly like as well.
