So i walk into Costco today...

So i walk into Costco today with my friends little brother, who is 11 years old... i take out my id and clearly show it to the lady working the door... she looks confused and i hand her the id and let her get a real close look at the picture.. she then asks " Where's your dad?" ... i grab back the id and continued to walk into the store... her face got all red and as i was walking away she apologized... i then had to leave his little brother and go back outside to get my brother and my friend. The rule of only two guests is sort of dumb, because i saw numerous dad's bring in their 5 kids no problem. Oh well. I got the other guys and luckly the stupid lady was gone and walked in no problem.

Has anyone else been mistaken for being like 13 years old?? I am 18 years old, along with a very deep voice, yet people seem to think i am much younger. Overall i like Costco, but hate having to fight the person checking id's at the door everytime i go in.

BTW, i ended up buying a case of snapple and a huge apple pie for 6.99......mmmmm pie....

And wheres Rossman at????

its just embrassing to have to sit there and explain that i am indeed a member and not trying to sneak in everytime i want to shop there....

I was asking wheres Rossman was because he seems to never leave Costco.. 🙂

they have a 2 guest rule? never knew that.. has never been a problem in the past.

and being mistaken for 13.. yikes. well, i get mistaken for being 19 yrs old my the majority people i meet.. 😱
 
i was 18..people said i looked older...but that was when i had a serious face on....nowadays, i'm 21...and people say i looke like 18 or so...even the people @ the so.cal meet says so...sigh..
 
funny how when i was 18, i went to vegas with my family and played slots and never got carded. this past july, went to vegas with some friends and got carded up practically everytime security was around..
 
Just got back from Costco (j/k they close at 6:00 PM on weekends).

I've never had a problem and that's not because we're on a first name basis.

They NEVER look at the pic, plus I use my Amex/Costco card and usually show them the Amex side of the card.

I was never aware of that rule 😕 I take as many as 4 guests in with me before with no problem at all
 
Ain't no CostCo near me. Sams Club is near me. I go there with my dad whenever there is a deal posted here. And that's like 3 times a year.

well for me it was like last week... but i walked into costco and saw lisa leslie. (culver city costco)
