I find this box of Crest brand tooth whitening strips tonight. I am sitting here with them in right now drooling like mad. I look at the box and it says EXP FE 2004. wtf :disgust:

So, judging from the date, I doubt these will do anything at all. I might just go get a new box at the store tomorrow.

They do cause you to drool a bit, expired or not.

Don't have much medication, The box of strips were something we had stuffed in a box while moving and forgotten about. I didn't think about looking for an expiration date. All of them are individually wrapped like MRE's

Well, I'm not entirely convinced the other ones were bad. The active ingredient in them is hydrogen peroxide. Whats the half life on this stuff? does it break down after being produced?

Still, I got a new box. Not that I need em or anything...

Then why'd you get them? Those things aren't cheap.

The principle. We got them about two years ago to try. I found the expired set in a box.. I'm gonna try em dangit. I looked at the Kroger brand ingredients, cheaper but had all kinds of other junk in there besides the peroxide. Set was still $20 a box.

It's not going to make you sick, it probably just won't work as well. Hydrogen Peroxide is unstable and breaks down into hydrogen gas and water after a relatively short period of time.
