So i think my paypal account was hacked

so i just received this email that my paypal account was hacked by this storeingame.com customer service and that they had refunded my money. i never play WoW or anything like that, so i didnt know about the site but they looked legit so it doesnt seem like a phishing scheme

so i log on to paypal from another browser session just to be safe, and saw this hold active in my paypal

do i just wait for the money to come back to my account, and then transfer back to bank? can i even call the bank to stop the payment now?


what the hell. my pw is pretty hard to hack (alphanumeric and characters) how is this even possible? i hate how i had my bank account info in there but its easier for me to transfer funds to my account when i sell things on ebay.

oh yea paypal sucks!
 
get the Paypal security key.

I had a similar thing happen to me. someone accessed my account and tried to buy EVE time cards.

lol someone used mine to buy some Gaia stuff. I never even heard of Gaia until my account got hacked.
 
where to get the security key? i dont need their stupid credit card or anything, right? and is it extra?

i can't find it on their website. maybe i'm missing something obvious...
