No way, I use tune-in radio daily and it doesn't draw peanuts for data.

Only common data hog is streaming HD video from my experience.

I can top 1.5 GB easy in Spotify and Amazon Cloud.

For reference, my Galaxy note 2 on tmobile unlimited plan with e-mail, group me, dropbox, music unlimited (320kb/s bitrate), web browsing and netflix, I am averaging about 500mb a day.
