Sounds like I won't waste time with further seasons.

I have to say, there were some pretty intense moments where I was literally at the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens.

Yep! You can probably put any single season in front of someone who's never seen it before and they'll be all :eek: DUDE

and then they realize there's, like, 8 years of the same shit that just gets more and more over the top ridiculous and then they'll be like :colbert: oh.

Watched 2 or 3 more episodes tonight and I just kept laughing at how ridiculous it keeps getting. kim just got kidnapped again on her way back to CTU from prison...LMAO!

I've enjoyed netflixing a lot of series' years after they were popular, for example Lost, Rescue Me, Dexter...but 24 is one that I tried but could never get beyond the ultra-dramatic unrealistic nature of the show.

I watched about half of Season 1, and the biggest problem that I had was that it felt like an overly long action movie. I just couldn't get into it.
