...and just like The Weather Man, people really are staying away from me. In all honesty, I avoid Nicholas Cage like the plague in general, but I started wearing a yellow sweat band around my forehead and people are keeping their distance. No more funny IT jokes that aren't really funny, no more bothering me for simple things. Its working.

Just a suggestion for all of you sitting in a cube trying to think of ways to be interrupted less during the day... look like your fucking crazy!
 
For a yellow headband? I don't know. We're talking about looking like you're crazy, not actually being crazy. I could argue that I get sweat in my eyes I work so hard. It really is a great headband, my boss went to Networkers and got it, its a Netformx band. I was thinking about running in it but then realized I would look weird wearing it in public.
 
I've worn Grateful Dead and other 'crazy' cufflinks but that is the extent of my foolhardiness. Sometimes I wear 'less-than-conservative' shoes but only on Fridays.

OP I think what you did is kinda funny.
 
I assume you posted this thread at work. I mean, the thread is pretty stupid, and you're doing stupid things at work... seems to fit the bill.

Remember when the opinion of a Lifer was important and when they bashed threads they could completely sway an OP into caring about what they thought? Neither do I...

The chairs here are amazing. They are the ones that everyone always talks about on the forum about how they are expensive but really good. We spent a ton of money on them. I didn't know they were that awesome until I saw everyone blabbering about them.

I just had a hazelnut coffee with hot chocolate (real sugar!) on ice. I can spin for a few more hours...
