Dudes, wtf.

What the ****ing hell am I supposed to do to get a serial number for software that I am eligible for (vista)?

Sorry for not making a proper, monotone, artard-esque e-mail. But I am tired of this "MS BS." (as in Microsoft BullSH**, if you live under a rock since Microsoft started).

I just want to straight-forwardly install a ****ing copy of Vista that won't own my computer that I paid a couple grand for. Meaning, I want to have a real copy of Vista to use and further expand my horizons as a Computer Science student.

Can whoever reading this message (assuming that some real human with a hearbeat does read this) tell me who do I have to suck off to get the answer that I need. I am assuming, in fact, that I will just get a BS email reply; so I will type in keywords that will get your attention.....

So that is the email. I just got soooo fricken pissed with MS and figured if they are getting tax deductions on their "charity" to students of Computer Science, that the actual phucking software should be easily attainable and usable.

I've had this problem with every MSDNAA software that I tried to download and install.

I guess I have to explain that this is the third time I have tried to contact MS on how to obtain a unique license key for a copy of Vista (business ed).

The one time I received a reply, it was just a redirection.

Mind you that I am entitled to this software and the fact that I engaged in a download of the Vista copy is a tax break for microsoft.

But I have no way of using my copy of Vista... even after repeated attempts to seek answers as to why my key was not given to me.

But thanks for your opinion, santa. 🙂

AFAIK its the responsibility of your school's MSDNAA admin to distribute the CD key to you, it has nothing to do with MS.
 
Last time I heard, Vista is only for Volume Lisenced Kit (VLKs). Are you someone special?

I didn't so.

So in other words you feel that you can download an image of the CD and be ENTITLED to use it by coming up with a random, as you put it, "BullSH**" excuse.

If by chance you are, which I highly doubt, eligible to use Vista at this point. Then I would suggest you contact your school's MS rep. I don't see sending off a letter like that will entice them to give YOU a key just for being like that. Look in the mirror sometime, you'll discover something that I am sure you haven't yet to understand, You are noone special.
 
Not sure why you need something so badly that looks to be a downgrade(or a new Windows ME) from XP... May I recommend visiting the following site http://www.ubuntu.com no license problems that I'm aware of and plenty of download servers...

The point of my post is that I get no results for my inquiry into an established system that
is meant to solve such issues.

I actually have the balls to email these types of messages.

Plain human rant to whoever might read it, hopefully somebody who is like me.

And, yes, UFL.... unlike worthless schools, gets real install ISO images of Vista accompanied with a matching serial #.

Vista's been available to MSDNAA admins since Dec 1. It's up to your school's admin to make it available to students.
