So I received my Leadtek 6800GT and it was broken

Damn Leadtek. Thing looks awesome. Weighs 10 lbs b/c of the sweet Heatsink. Only problem is I boot up my bios for 1st time and see nothing but white and blue artifacts. CAlled LEadtek tech support and said rma it. Only problem is Leadtek is out of stock and ewiz is too. Returning it to ewiz and am going to Best Buy to buy a BFG Geforce 6800 GT. Watch out with the leadtek cards.

This is second post I've seen here this week where someone got DOA Leadtek 6800GT. It reminds me of the BFG FX5900 DOA episode.

That was limited to GameVE though and BFG replaced every one of those cards.

BFG's cards are kewl too, espcially the factory OC, but nothing factory beats the massive heatsink on my Leadtek

that is why i selected the leadtek in the first place. I loved the heatsink. It is awesome. Too bad the card didn't work. It was quiet too.

yeah, even my leadtek 6800nu is pretty nice as far as heatsinks go. is the gt one dual slot?

I almost bought a Leadtek, provided it was not DOA I am sure it would have been sweet.

Didn't see this post earlier. My a400gt was DOA also. I had artifacts everywhere even in the bios. I purchased mine from gameve.com. Hopefully, the next one will work and it'll get here soon.
