Cuz I really don't feel the need, desire, or reason to do anything than nef and read fantasy football articles....

Anyone else with experience with these things?

Well, if you want to get paid....? I don't see why it would be different than any other week.

Depends on your workplace environment, though.

How about training your replacement like you should be doing, documenting what you know for the job into SOP's, and preparing for a new employee?

Haha, that's my quit date as well 😛

I'm feeling super lazy, but I'm not going to be an @$$ and not do work while I'm still getting paid for it 🙂

well, there's work and then there's the appearance of work 😉 depends if you want a recommendation from them in the future. the last job I quit, an 8 to 5, became a 10 to 2 in my last two weeks.

yeah yeah duty and honor and all that....

I'm a documentation nutjob, so everything I've done is already fully documented and handed off to the team.

But beyond that I really can't motivate myself to work, I was an hour late for work this morning... I mean what are they gonna do? Fire me?

i would. if youre not going to have the respect for yourself and the company to finish out your 2 weeks with pride, youre not worth the money youre getting paid and just become a distraction to the other employees.

im an asshole like that, tho. really depends on your soon to be former boss and the company you work for.

Yes. Do you ever plan to use this job on your resume? If so, work hard to the end.

On every job I've ever had, I've ALWAYS given 100% through the last day. They're paying you to do what they hired you for, if you're not willing to do what they're giving you money for, you should either have quit two weeks ago without notice, or they should have fired you.

Wow... so time to add a poll I guess... seems alot of people say I should work...

if you not doing your job causes more work for you co-workers then i suggest you do it. My co-worker quit last week and come to find out after she left she didnt do jack the last two weeks she was here. I spent all this week doing all her task she didnt do, and i have a whole different opinon of her now.

Do you have another job already?

When I quit my last job for my current one I worked like normal for the first week then the second one came around and I wasn't so into it, I basically neffed all day on here and did what was needed to be done but nothing more.

They didn't care either really, they didn't have anyone lined up to replace me so there wasn't any training or any crap like that to much.
