Guys, I am coming here....pretty much askin u to help me out! I have a chance to sell my a64 3000+ and DFI lanparty nf3 250gb for $200. I will only if it is worth upgrading to something better, say 939, not like the fx series, but maybe spend $100-150 more than $200. OR should I upgrade to a P4? Your help is needed. I will be gaming mostly, so this is a factor!

funny u should ask, I now have a thread containing the following:

My specs and my problem:
DFI Lanparty NF3 250gb
Athlon 64 3000+ 754 running at 2.2ghz
1GB twinMos at 220 2.5-3-3-8
PNY 6800GT with NV5 silencer
Western Digital Raptor HD 36.6 gb 10k rpm

Why the heck am I getting such a low score? I ran it at 1024x768 at all the stock options. I am running the newest drivers from Nvidia, just got thru with a reformat a few hrs ago! Please help out!

**Update** Just set everything to stock, took the speeds on the 6800gt to 401/1.15ghz with "application controlled" on AA, AF and vertical sync. Ran 3dmark05 at 1024x768 with default settings, got a better score of 3894, BUT its still low, IMO for it being a 6800gt oc'ed past ultra speeds, any ideas?

you're going to upgrade because of a mediocre bechmark program? eeek. That would be like buying a new car cause your current one doesn't fit in the wendys drive-thru. I'm sure you are capable of better choices than that!
